        I'm really rooting for northerner to get everything settled soon. Especially by the time I place my next order. I'm really happy I found snuff. It's cheap and no probs ordering.

I ordered a can of Chaini Khaini mango portion and got spice instead. Hopefully Northerner will resolve the issue without a lot of trouble. Has their customer service gotten better as of late? Does anyone have any advice for me if I do not hear from them after a while? I don't want it to come down to filing a complaint and disputing the charge with the credit card, but if that's what I have to do in the end I will. Thanks in advance for your help.

            Well I've waited 4 weeks to get something from Northerner, after they accepted full payment. I got something which I assume is from Northerner today. I'll have to go to the (UK) delivery office next week to find out.

            Point is, when Northerner was in obvious turmoil, i I got stuff from the other Swedish snus companies in 2 days! So didn't those companies face the same problems, I mean with your American PACT business and all, sort it out, and function as normal - unlike Northerner, who apparently fell to pieces?

              To be fair there was rather more to Northerner's PACT transition than the other companies...
              Already operating Northerner Scandinavia from Sweden...
              1) They took over GetSnus in the US
              2) They took over supplying the US customers of SnusWorldWide
              3) They set up a dedicated US warehouse to operate their US operations from which I imagine involved shifting large quantities of snus from Sweden to the US
              4) They set up labelling machines in their US warehouse to label each and every can of snus they send out of the US warehouse with the US government mandated health warning (the Swedish ones aren't valid in the US under PACT)

                  Maybe.....But I think their intentions were good in trying to ensure you guys in the US were still able to get your hands on Swedish snus post-PACT. The original owners of GetSnus and the US arm of SnusWorldWide stepped aside once PACT was on the table.

                  I'm not dismissing all the frustration of orders not being received and lack of customer support contact expereinced by many at all, merely trying to give some insight into why things may have got snarled up for a bit.

                  I hope you all get the snus you're waiting on real soon and the waters start to calm.

                    Their implementation, though, has left many with a sour taste.

                    Hindsight is, indeed, 20-20; understanding that Americans,
                    especially, can get huffy when information is not readily
                    forthcoming is probably/hopefully a lesson well-learned.

                    "Don't try to pull the wool over our eyes or we'll rip it off and
                    shove it down your throat!" relates to the sense of frustration
                    displayed throughout many of these forum posts.

                    I think most of us, deep down, are anxiously awaiting Northerner's
                    renewed efforts and wish them continued success with their
                    US-based operations.


                    That doesn't mean we won't continue to f*ck with them online --
                    after all, that is the American Way!!

                      northerner has never ripped me off. they have always made good on any mistake they have ever made. i have said all that before and a few post up i talk about a positive order i made and received a few days ago.

                      I say all that because i want to be fair. i think northerner is a honest company.

                      Northerner is a for profit company and would not be in the USA unless they expected to make money. I do understand someone complaining about not getting their snus or no communication from northerner, etc. Personally, I have not had those things happen to me. Yea in the past a few mistakes have happened and yea there were times my communications were not replied to. I have to say that overall they have done me right.

                      I've been in business for many years and try to have some understanding. At the same time, the person paying the moolaa is the boss or he is in America most of the time haha.

                      a little rambling here but there is something we need to keep in mind. There is a mighty good chance that within six months we won't hardly be able to get our hands on a can of snus that don't pass through northerners hands. Unless another snus site is working on getting approved by the fda, the taxman and uncle sam in general their snus deliveries will start disappearing slowly and surely. The UPS will start sending them to the US Department of Snus dirt bags and you will get a bill for the problems you caused UPS. So, give northerner heck, make them send your snus but if you have a good experience or a bad one made right maybe consider telling the good stories too. I for one don't want to see northener go out of biz before they get started. i like them and i like snus ;-)

                        It's now been 26 days and still no thunder berry portion.......

                        Any idea how much longer this is going to take?

                          I've still got 2 rolls of berry blend PENDING since JUN 30
                          so hopefully it won't be much longer...

                          The Oomph on that same order is supposedly due in and
                          shipping before the end of this week.

                          Maybe we will have Christmas in July after all...

                            Dear Christopher Nash,

                            Firstly, please let me apologise for the lack of attention to your helpdesk ticket and the time it has taken to respond. We have had a major system update with many troubles across the board (some technical and others of a non-technical nature) that it has been difficult to answer every single query.

                            We are desperately trying to make amends for the lack of quality service in the first few weeks of the Pact Act being introduced in the US but are confident now that we are able to provide a service equal and even better than before the huge system updates.

                            Your order was between our new and old system and therefore the final Old Paris, Fribourg & Treyer was not sent to you .

                            Can you please list any missing items and I will issue you a refund right away.

                            I am missing the Old Paris, but also 3 tins of Kanel Los and a tin of Gotlands Yellow arrived in Portion instead of Los.

                              So I got 2 rolls of snus today. SHould have been 5, I got 2. Should have been 4 rolls of Jackobson's WIntergreen (2 bought, 2 free, ordered before PACT when the deal was still alive, on Jun 22) and a roll of Thunder Frost Long.

                              I received 2 rolls of Jackobson's CLASSIC. lol. Thats just great. 2 rolls of something I didn't order, 5 rolls and my $94.00 still in the twilight zone. ANyone want 2 rolls of Jak's Classic? Yuk.

                              I am thinking I should consider it a loss and move on.

                                Well, I just made an order through getsnus. I had been pondering it for a while, and was reluctant with that $12 shipping and UPS, and I really didn't want a big order. It said my age was verified for my address, and wasn't sure if changing the address would mess that up, because I wanted it mailed to my work adress, but after I went through it all, I sent them a contact to mail it to my work address, which I hope they can. If I had changed my listed address to my work address, do you think that would have messed up the age verification? Oh well, I'll find out, but I am at work till 5:30PM M-F.
