Hey All,
Well I decided to switch to snus to help me quit smoking, and it's working. However I have been using American Camel SNUS which provides a very low niccotine content so therefore I have to pop two of those F***** in to keep me from wanting to smoke. I finally broke down and ordered some Snus from Northerner.com just yesterday. Only to stumble across this thread today and see that they are having problems shipping orders. We can bicker all day about the laws being passed in the US, and the problems northerner.com is having complying and satisfying orders at the same time. Keep in mind Northerner.com is a business and has been for almost 13 years and I'm sure if there is anything they can do to prevent customer dissatisfaction and boost customer loyalty, they are doing it if they want to stay in business. Are these issues affecting ALL orders? Or only orders that are available in the Sweden warehouse? I ordered 10 cans of General White Mint which is in stock in the US warehouse according to the site. Is my order going to be extremely delayed? I wish I knew how to find out myself. The order states that it is "Pending" which I have no idea what that means. It sounds like these problems are only affecting orders that are backordered to the manufacturer or are not in stock in a US warehouse. Am I wrong? Any insight? Thanks to all.

although there does not seem to be any real logic in what gets sent and what don't i will predict you WILL get yours on time. Don't ask me why because it would take too much typing haha. I base that mostly on the brand you ordered. you will get it on time so don't worry.

oh, pending more or less means it's not been shipped yet. But an order being in pending is normal and "ok" if you order at night or on the weekends. and i might put late afternoon in that group too. if i ordered monday evening i would not be surprised for it to stay in opening until tuesday sometime and that would be expected and normal.

to your last question..... you are almost 100% correct. there "seems" to be a few other exceptions but mostly you are on target.

Even put something’s in my basket that well according to people on here were out of stock or delaying their order
And it arrived in the usual 3 days hmm

Most of the problems are the stock in the US warehouse I believe.

Since you are receiving your stuff from the Swedish warehouse your problems are minimal.

Aside from the knotty Northerner issues it may not really be a good idea to order a whole roll of something right off the bat although General Mint is certainly a fine and popular choice. Try a bunch of things. Explore all the flavor profiles and in a few weeks/months you'll find what you like for use on a regular basis. The flavors of Swedish snus can be a bit intimidating for new users and can take some getting used to. General Mint might be the least problematic in that respect but whether or not you will like it on a regular basis is a crapshoot. Even veteran users, after much trial and experimentation use from 3-6 different flavors/types in a "rotation". Read this forum like someone possessed and you will be rather better prepared for the "real thing".

That's sound advice. First off, thanks to all of you. Very timely and unusually welcoming responses from seasoned forum users. I figured that I should try more brands before I get a grip of the same kind. It was just hard finding information on what they all tasted like and I wanted to pay less than the per can price. I plan on giving some of it away to some friends that want to quit smoking and the Marlboro/Camel BS is just not cutting it for them. I figured the real stuff might help them look for more options before they give up on quitting cigs. I'll look through some of the other threads to get an idea of what people like. For me, variety doesn't matter, if it tastes good, helps me stop smoking for my lungs' sake. I'm down. Any suggestions on particular brands/flavors? I'm ok with sweet stuff. Anything really that tastes awesome and has a higher niccotine content than Camel SNUS works for me! BTW YAY! For my possible on-time first delivery of REAL SNUS!!!

My 2¢ on Northerner, I have purchased from Frank for 9 years now and I can count on 3 fingers the number of issues I have had, these are human beings not robots filling the orders. We need to be looking for ways to support Northerner not berate them.

i have been a boss and or biz owner for something like about 30 years. i don't like brown nosers and always have my brown nose radar running. if i catch a brown noser employee i generally let them brown nose themselves into a stupor before letting them brown nose their job away. it's kind of a hobby of mine you might say. anyway, anyone else's brown nose radar been beeping a lot since this pact thing has been going on? maybe my radar is messed up because brown nosing over snus just seems silly. oh heck just ignore everything i just wrote, i must be silly to think that brown nose stuff

brown-noseing is usually the result of improper snuff usage. usually by taking snuff useing the Scarface method. Go Al!!

Hey Guys! Another question. Does it matter which state I live in when it comes to paying/waiting for my Snus shipment? I'm not up on the laws too much yet. I live in New Mexico (Which is in the United States) any prohibition that way.

Not unless you live in a Banned state. However your taxes will be different between states. I don't believe you will have any problems in New Mexico.

Welcome to SnusOn, Nu2Snus! Don't let this or any other threads on here scare you about your order. I'm hoping all the wrinkles are already ironed out. Let us know when you get your order.

It might be nice for others who have made recent orders to let us know how it went as well just for reassurance.

Sorry about being so hard on Northerner earlier, but I just found out my order from June 19th was canceled this morning which did kind of upset me. Mostly because I had to contact them to find out. But Northerner is good people and I wish them smooth sailing ahead.

Yes, it is truly sad. I've been asked "Can you even drink the water there?" or "How hard is it for you to get back into the US?" or "How does it feel to be able to use any drug you want?" or "Why did you move out of the US?" I can go on and on. haha goobers. funny word btw. And thanks for all the warm welcomings! I will let you guys know when my order comes in. I'm using snus to cut my smoking habit so it won't be something I'll be doing forever. I'm hoping this is the last tobacco product I will EVER have to buy.
