Have an update - Found two stores about an hour away that has most of the General range . Guess i'll be road tripping soon since i'm down to a 1/3rd can of Ettan los, 5 portions of Thunder berry and about 5 Jakobsons WG strong portions. :

How much are they selling for? If the price is reasonable, talk to the proprietor. See if he'll order you snus in roll quantities for a discount. Regular road trips, with guaranteed fresh snus are better than drive, and hope for the best.

Was pretty reasonable - $3.99 a can. I'm already planning to pick up at least a roll. Will talk to the owner when i'm there about maybe doing a bulk order. The nearest store is about 50 miles, not too far by Iowa standards. The other store is another 15 miles. Both were selling at the same price.
Also thinking this could give me some leverage on my local store. Can tell them "look i can drive another 20 minutes and get General, while i'm there i will probably stock up on beer etc, that's all sales you are missing out on by not selling General".

I envy you two. The closest cigar shop to me is like 45 minutes away and wants 7.50 a can.

edit: there's a store downtown (short drive) thats listed on the general website, but when I went inside I was told that their "next shipment could come in a day, or 6 months"

I wondered exactly who was making these decisions but decided to leave it at that.

Yep, one is The Tobacco Hut, 5714 Hickman, the other is C & C Smokers Outlet Ankeny, on North Ankeny Blvd. Tobacco Hut didn't have los yet but had everything else, ie OP, WG, white. I'm more interested in Los so will head to the Ankeny one first.

yeah. They are about that price at the shop in San Jose which is about an hour away from me.
