MYSTERY SOLVED: Oomph is now Northerner

Oomph is going through a name change, and will now be called Northerner. We will still be sending out Oomph from the Swedish warehouse until the stock is gone, but from the US warehouse it will be called Northerner from now on. The only thing changed is the name, its still the same snus.

    .
    .

After much speculation and suggestions of conspiracies,
    Oomph
, which was originally Wise, is now called Northerner.

The Northerner site still lists availability as 1-7 days (still no such notation at Getsnus).

Oomph was a terrible name. Sef branded is a little generic, but I can live with it.

One thing's for sure (if there is such a thing!) -- it's pretty much an exclusive!
Can't see Snuscentral or any of the others stocking it!!

Also noticed that Northerner Boost (formerly known as Energy),
is not a late-night snus unless you're looking to stay awake.

      Contains:
      Taurine 50 Mg
Caffeine 20 Mg (a cup Of Coffee Contains 60 To 80 Mg)
      Guarana

          +1 - I'd even take 40 cans of it for $100...

I'd sign up for VIP today if this was an option.

Oomph would be a good name if the label showed a guy getting kicked in the apple-bag.

                Like big ugly warning labels?

                      Kinda says it all:

                      Pending Oomph/Northerner Brands Snus Orders

                      07/23/2010 email
unfortunately the oomph and the northerner brands are still out of stock both here in sweden and in the us. We do expect a shipment from the manufacturer early next week and we'll be sending it across to the us the second it gets here. So another 8-10 business days until it reaches you. We are terribly sorry about these delays.

Strangely, the Northerner site lists them
1-7 days for US but in stock for Sweden
                      on July 23

Sorry for the ignorance, but what exactly is this type of snus? I was confused when it was Oomph, but I'm still confused..

                          Yeah, what's the "purified" mean?

Since this is a Northerner exclusive, guess what?
It seems that only Northerner knows!
And here's what they have to say about it:

(Replace the word 'Wise' with 'Oomph' and/or 'Northerner')

                            Purified Snus

Wise is a purified white portion tobacco snus. Both Wise Original and Wise Citrus/ Menthol is available in 3mg and 6mg. There is also the Lagmark Wine & Chef snus (6mg) that is a flavourless snus.

Wise portion snus contains nicotine but is purified from undesirable constituents in the finnished product. Among these are nitrosamines that can cause cancer. This is why the Wise portion snus can be called a purified. Wise is based on pure tobacco and only cleared provisions additives.

Wise portion is a dry snus that get it's moisture from saliva, so wet it with your tongue before putting it under your lip. Because Wise portion is a dry snus it also has a long durability without beeing stored in a refrigerator.
Now, what more do you need to know?
And, yes, it's been cleared by the FDA,
or it wouldn't be legally available in the US
                            (in 8-10 days from now).

It's an end run around health agency regulations. It's virtually pharmaceutical nicotine, but since it's tobacco, they don't have to go through the drug approval process.
