    The New and Improved Getsnus/Northerner Ticket System!?!

    Well, I got to try the new Getsnus ticket system this morning.

    Did I have success with it? Time will tell. The system certainly wasn't set up with the end user in mind.

    It's actually a multi-step process with no option to go back and correct anything you've already filled in, possibly erroneously. It reminds me of a no-turnaround maze. Some of the Criticality and Category choices are not very helpful, leaving you to guess at a choice that might not get lost in the mix of messages. For instance, evidently in laid-back Sweden nothing is Critical; you get to choose between Normal and Low! And don't get me started on the categories; suffice it to say that in Sweden, evidently, choices are very limited (but hopefully fulfilling).

    To really make confusion the order of the day, the Order page has changed -- it no longer shows anything but what has shipped with no way of knowing what was ordered, shipped, or backordered... in other words, the actual order no longer shows; very confusing!


    In trying to emulate the Swedish attitude, I will now stuff my mouth with a mixture of soothingly high-kicking snus while I await acknowledgment, and hopefully resolution, of my ticket.

    In order words, how long before I get my ticket punched??

      Interesting sidenote

      My ticket was sent to Getsnus and sits in my ticket locker (or is it a folder?).

      Went to Northerner to check something; logged in okay.

      Then, for the heck of it, I clicked on Orders and nothing showed up at all,
      which is correct since I've not ordered from mama Northerner. Nor did it
      show me the points I have at Getsnus (yet?).

      Clicked on Helpdesk and lo and behold there was my Getsnus ticket. Neat!!

      That's all, just the ticket.

      Now I know I have 2 locations I can visit and pretend that, very soon, one
      of them will have the resolution I hope for!!

        I used the ticket system this morning as well...they gave me a tracking number that doesn't show anything on the UPS website...I'm hoping they reply soon, I'd like to be able to actually SEE that my order has been shipped instead of them just assuring me it has ;-)

          The tracking info usually doesn't show up 'til late in the day.

            Usually, as soon as you place an order somewhere, if they give you a tracking number, UPS shows it as "billing information received", even if it hasn't actually been shipped out yet. I was surprised to see they had a tracking number but UPS didn't have any information (you'd think as soon as a number was assigned, UPS would log it in). Either way, I just got notification that billing information was received so looking forward to getting my shipment soon, this is my first online order so I'm excited to try a few brands other than General!

                Why would you even bother trying to order from one of those sites? At this point, anyone who orders from them, well, thats their own fault. I won't even go near them until I hear everything is perfectly smooth. Cheaper prices ain't cheaper if you don't receive your product.

                I had problems with my Jun 22nd order. Finally they shipped everything, and I received it, but it was all the wrong product. I began screaming at them everyday in email for a full refund and prepaid boxes to send the wrong snus back. They finally got sick of me, refunded my money, and said nothing about sending me any boxes. So I have 4 rolls of Jak's Classic for free, but I do not want them. I gotta get rid of them. Anyone want them? For free?

                But that was my last dealings with Northerner or Getsnus until I hear there are no issues left and everyone gets their snus in a couple of days. Screw the amatuer hour that Northerner has revelaed themselves to be. Incompetent is what they are.

                  jeeze... here i am, still waiting on the roll of snus i paid for 3 months ago from GetSnus, and i see this fresh thread. oh god. and i'm gonna have to make a new order soon and i'm still not square with the "old" one and the new help thing they have sounds like it's a rat's maze and... jeeze. 6 months ago if i had a problem i'd pick up the phone and talk to a human and *poof* it's all taken care of.

                  just jeeze...

                      My last order with Getsnus was June 30 and I'm still waiting for 2 rolls of Thunder Berry Blend...

                      My backorders of 'formerly known as Oomph' arrived Tuesday. I kinda like the taste of them and I can very easily double-barrel them to get 12mg total. I'd like to get more along with their Boost which contains Taurine 50 Mg, Caffeine 20 Mg (a Cup Of Coffee Contains 60 To 80 Mg), and Guarana.

                      'Formerly known as Oomph' has been renamed Northerner and is their exclusive brand. Talk about being over a barrel!!
