The best place close to where I work is Shervingtons on Holborn, who do Oliver Twists and various snuffs.

Smokers Paradise near the Bank of England is also good, and feels like you've stepped back to Dickensian times when you walk in.

What street is smoker paradise on?

On the Threadneedle Street side of the Royal Exchange. The sign doesn't actually say Smokers Paradise, it's Redmond & Co, but all references to them on the web are Smokers Paradise.

When I was in London I was trying to find somwhere some local manufactured twist tobacco. But I did not succeed
