Thats pretty cool, but it doesn't ship insured.. If it's lost it's your loss not theirs.

      True ... BUT
This section is tax free to European and International customers. Please note, that we do not accept responsibility for any additional charges that may be incurred from your country's customs.

Tax-free snus is shipped non-registered and we cannot track these packages. Average delivery time is 10-14 days on tax-free orders.
If you buy thru the Sweden choice shipped from Sweden, though, you might get it.

Sounds like a risk not worth taking.

I thought this was intended for non-US customers to order from the US warehouse tax free at the point of sale but then when it gets to your country the gamble would be whether your customs jumped on it and charged you your loacal tobacco and sales tax on it before they would release it to you.

I might be wrong but that's the way I read it.

it looks like its only for non-usa customers.

i wonder why the rest of the world is ok to send non-taxed snus to but northerner wont even try sending it from Sweden to usa? as far as not thinking the risk is worth taking...... that's just down right un-american haha. america was founded by risk takers. the day the pact act went into effect "someone" really real close to me ordered 50 cans from sweden just because i.... i mean they were told not to. besides, i promise you there is a lot "higher priority international shipping" going on besides powdered tobacco.

By golly, I think you're right ...... I can't find any option to ship from Sweden.

If you choose "Products in Europe Warehouse only",
Location EU it only shows "Shipped from US, Pennsylvania" as shipping option.

I am going to stay away from tax free snus at this point. It might have been great before PACT but I have a feeling that our state officials are no longer friendly about tax free snus.

I've taken a chance with one roll Tax free from swedish-snus. I don't think the UK taxes snus but I'll let you all know when I receive it what the score was here. Had a limited selection to choose from though.

In Germany one can import snus for
                        - up to 22 € duty free
                        - between 22 and 150 € by paying 19% duty (that's the national VAT)
                        - more than 150 € by paying 60.6% duty (that's VAT and EU-duty)

That should be similar in every EU-country (except Sweden and Denmark probably) and in most countries around the world.

When I think about the horrendous Swedish taxes, this tax-free snus could be the way to go. There were some shops in the past which offered tax-free snus, but either their choice of snus-brands was too small or the shop looked a little shady.

                        Cheers!

10 x Jaccobsons Ice fruit - Came to about 22gbp including postage. Hopefully they are easy on the salt, its nice as a flavour enhancer but not for me as the predominant flavour. Looking for an everyday snus, as the salty snus can be a bit much sometimes. Time and a place etc Probably have an "English" Palette, if there is such a thing, and since stopping smoking my sense of taste is coming back

Anyway I'll keep you posted. Hopefully be within a fortnight to the UK.

There is no excise duty in the UK for snus or dip (Copenhagen et al) however there is still VAT to add if you go over the £18 allowance, oh and factor in the £8 "handling charge" that the PO add for no good reason. When calculating the exchange rate for your order use these tables. This is what HMRC use to calculate whether your package is within your allowance.
I recently placed 2 orders with Northerner for a combined total of 20 cans of dip, splitting orders is now the best option since Northerner only charged me £2.88 per package as they now ship via Swiss Post. Total combined order 20 cans+ shipping around £35.50 and no extras added from the revenue men. Each package £17.75 just slips in under the wire. It pays to know your figures.
