Update: Now with 3 cans of 5 Offroad Wintergreen and every one had 4-5 portion broken. Not good at all.

That's good to hear. But maybe you should fix that problem which cause this broken portions thing aswell.

Attn snusers,

V2 has responded to me, saying that these things sometimes happen when production levels are very high. In summary, a simple mistake, could affect hundreds of portions when they produce so much. They mentioned that their methods of control and inspection are being closely followed, so it doesn't happen again.

Needless to say, it was the very owner of V2 himself, Mr. Vogel, who answered my email.
It is very impressive that he took the time to deal with my situation, when Im only a 'small peanuts' customer for them.

Thank you V2 for getting back to me, explaining the situation, and taking action. You will be in my good books

Thought I would say that I just got a roll of Thunder long+ from UPS today (exp March 11 2012) and in the first can at least all the portions are pact full and unopened.

Coffee Supreme Portions busted Open

Just open up my second ever can of Thunder Chrome Coffee Supreme Portions Long + and every single portion is busted open at one end... WTF I'm so pissed... Are we back to this again V2... My first can was perfect.... Although some portions were longer than others and inconsistent ... I love this snus,But.... I hope this is not what I have in store for my other cans... Damnit!

No problem with the Chocomint at all, But I'm still on my 1st can.... Time will tell... Maybe it was just a fluke bad can of the Coffee Supreme.... Kinda hard to beleive it would just be 1 can though....Hope there is not a bad batch of busted Coffee Supreme floating around..... I may just save that busted portion can for home use and open another...

Ok! Update.... I said screw it and opened another can of the Coffee Supreme and No Busted or open portions at all.... Since i use these alot out and about another open can won't matter besides they are so moist the open busted portion can won't dry out for at least a minimum of 2-3 months.. If that....HaaHaa... Not sure if any other can I have would have busted portions, But time will tell when i go through these 2 cans which may be awhile...

I've gone through a couple cans of chocomint and a couple cans of coffee so far. I have found a few portions split along the side, but nothing terrible. I just toss em in anyways.

Probably just growing pains with the new portion format. We've seen it in the past, but the Vogel bro's are always good about fixing the problem.

popped portions aside, I still say Thanks for some of the best damn snus available!

My first can of Offroad White Eucalyptus had 5 or 6 portions that were open. I ended up tossing about 10 because even the ones that were sealed weren't sealed enough and were breaking open after I had them in for awhile.
I sent an email and received a response which I thought was cool. Haven't had any other problems with the other V2 cans I have had.
He said he would send me a replacement but I haven't seen anything yet.
