What do you think of a soft package which you fold like this one?
    http://www.mac-baren.com/BundMenu/Pr...n-Blend-2.aspx
It's the same soft package as for pipe tobacco.

GoVegan, I would also choose the purified snus through the Sahara desert, it will definitely stay dry :-)

    Frank...

That looks fine and I for one would just transfer them to something like a ice tool slim box.. When you say the only change would be the packing you mean thats what will bring down the price right? You still willl be getting a higher strength portion right?

My biggest concern is the nic content. If it goes up I will buy them any way you pack em...lol

    Thanks for your attention Frank!!

I've been double-barreling Northerner BOOST since forever
so it's nice to know that higher potency Northerners are
      being contemplated.

Soft pack is welcomed, especially if it brings the cost down.
Would they still fit in the Northerner packages? You really
can't get more discreet than those!

As for additional flavors, a Mixed Berry would be great
      (a nice dessert snus!!).

@GoVegan... I'll add that I've commented in the past that
cockroaches and Northerner Snus would probably be the
only survivors of a nuclear holocaust. Talk about survivability!!

Good idea - I will buy it in a plain brown paper bag if it helps bring down the price!

How about a Northerner snus that tastes like Gellivare!

Yeah the softpack will bring down the cost by almost 50%. It will contain 200 portions and also be a bit stronger. I have asked for the double strenght but they said it will be difficult for some reason. Mixed berry that sounds like a great flavor to bring to the desert, I will talk with the manufacturer ;-)

We will eventually also change name to another brand other than Northerner. Any creative ideas? Maybe desert gun powder ;-)

              Thanks for all comments!

I have a couple for you frank.. We all know the importance the Indians had in the world of tobacco and my wife is part Cherokee so maybe something cool from their translation of the word tobacco.. Just some ideas...

                1. tobacco = tso-la, tso-lu, tso-lv....

Or something cool like Celtic/Gaelic for new...

                Tús Nua - New Beginning/start

                Tús Úr - Fresh Beginning/start

Tús Úrnua - Brand new Beginning/Start

I am trying to find something that looks cool on a lable but still has meaning.. Kinda like Los...

I spoke with them about a stronger and bigger product after Elixyr was discontinued and the gist of it was it would be bitter. But they said they would make it if demand was high enough for it.

Yeah.. If they just doubled it I would think so...maybe they can crank it up to 10 mg and balance it out somehow.. Got to get the nic up to sterk levels somehow.. I am sure they will figure it out...

                    I like it small though...

Wait a sec- have a contest on snuson! Perhaps the winner could get something like serious consideration but not commitment for their name idea and a free package of the new snus when it is released.

I don't mind at all if the portion size is bigger and if it means higher nicotine then i'm all for it. I'm used to Starks so i would like it to have a good nicotine kick. This could potentially be the snus that you could take travelling as no need to worry about it staying moist. My fingers are crossed.

I thought about it and I also would be ok with a bigger portion as long as the the other advantages stayed the same... I'm excited...

Keep them as discreet as possible.

That's the beauty of the Northerners:
                            Discreet when carrying...
                            Discreet when using.

I see what you're saying, the small ones are good for that - but i seldom use them just because they don't pack enough of a punch.

For some reason I detect the Northerner's 'punch' to be amplified, especially the BOOST.

I tend to keep them in longer with no urge to refresh them early. Then again, I usually double-barrel them (with no loss of discreetness).
