New Swedish chewing tobacco for the UK wanted.

Seeing as Makla is legal to buy in the shops in the UK why can't a Swedish style chewing tobacco become available in the UK? I could see it selling in tobacconists along with the Oliver Twists and Maklas we can currently buy.

Makla: (looks like los to me)

You could even sell the los in little portion bags which are designed to be ripped open so you can have a good old chew on the chewing tobacco.

I've wondered about this myself. If snus manufacturers were smart enough, they would replace the word "snus" on the cans with "makla". Problem solved.

Well "Makla" is a brand i think so all you need to do is replace "snus" with "chewing tobacco"

                        Yeah!

I really don't' understand why Svedish manifacture didn't try to sell something that was good for EU laws.

I don't know the real market of Makla and Chema.
But here in Italy are very rare product. Tabaconists don't sell this products.
Here there are 60millions people, smokers maybe 25millions,
but only 10000 max sometime will use chema or makla.
                        Very difficult to buy.
Often the product is very old and the can is rusty.

And the taste is like mug with dead fishes inside.
                        Also the smell is orrible.

In the UK instead sell real chewing tobacco.

Odens and Northerner now write to chew the snus to be correct with Eu laws.

But maybe could try to sell a can with a Snus:
                        1) not too strong (max 10mg of nic)
                        2) Loose (if portioned maybe the Eu law could say something)
                        3) with a good smell a good taste
                        4) inside you should write how to use (for example put inside a little tea bag etc)

But maybe Snus brands are scared to be fined for a real little market.

Ansel, this stuff will put hairs on your chest, legal throughout uk, but you'd need a spitter:
                              Good Old English Chew
