    US Smokless

I'd like to contact somebody at US Smokeless Company regarding their Skoal products and their availability in Canada. I'm trying to get a list of flavours that are available. The anti tobacco laws in Canada do not allow for products to be displayed so I have no idea what my options are here. The Skoal website only allows US citizens to make a profile. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think this is the Canadian distributor, maybe they will be able to help.

I have yet to see readycut anywhere at a gas station? Any idea if its only a regional thing? I'm not really interested in trying it but just seeing it actually exists would seem strange.
That long cut flavor line up is incredibly disapointing to what i was used to back when i used dip.
No vanilla, no straight, no key, no original, i doubt they make spearmint anymore, i remember back in probably 2009 i got a sample can of skoal watermelon somewhere and it somehow never made it to production

Ready-Cut is pushed pretty hard here in the Capitol Region of PA, also they do have straight in long cut and fine cut, Skoal Original Long Cut and still make the spearmint. Best thing USST was discontinue that vile rot-gut they called vanilla. But in summary, yes most of what you listed with the exception of key and vanilla are still made.

I was lucky enough to try Skoal Key and guess what, I know taste is subjective, it tastes just like Copenhagen.

You aren't missing anything with ready cut. The cubes don't fit well enough to be comfortable, I also believe you get less tobacco for the same price. The cubes either don't satisfy the need for nice big pinch or just don't feel right.

I'd take pinching and placing any day.

Have you had Skoal? I find it too be too sweet but if you can find Skoal Classic, black and grey can, that's not expired its the best moist snuff out there. Not as rough on the gums as Copenhagen but just as good.

If you like sweet fruit flavors, citrus and peach aren't bad. But too sweet for all day use.

All time favorite snus has to be copenhagen smooth hickory. There was a certain kind of flavor to it that made me shove it in by the mouthfuls. Behind that has to be cope black. After that either got discontinued or stopped being shipped around me i got into copehagen longcut straight (gold lid) the copenhagen longcut original had that disgusting wintergreen flavoring in it. Copenhagen is incredibly difficult to buy because they all have the same name. New gas station attendants are always confused and would bring me a can of wintergreen.
Skoal was amazing. I spent between age 14 and 16 using nothing but skoal apple but i could never enjoy it again for some reason. With an occasional can of vanilla. I was never a fan of peach. citrus was the thing when it came out but died off quickly. I really liked skoal classic and key but original was an extremely fine cut wintergreen mess.
Then of course my gas station started carrying kayak grape. It was hit or miss with every can as you tried to weed through extremely dry crap and incredibly tasty grape.
Unfortunately i knew i had to find nicotine another way when i was going over 2 cans of copenhagen a day. I remember the 3 gas stations i'd rotate around buying a can from each day too embaressed to buy 3 each day from one place. Eventually found snus. It lasts longer and satisfies better so even if you shovel one in after another you still can make it the whole day on a little over half a can.

Gold top is the original, not the one with the wintergreen (LC Straight, red lid). And it is indeed the shit... I think it tastes like bacon.

Copenhagen Snuff blows everything else out of the water, no wonder it's been around so long. A bit of a hassle to master but well worth it. Gold top and XLC natural taste great as well but they are not quite there. I've had Skoal Classic but unfortunately it was pretty dry, I bet it's pretty good fresh.

Classic's alright when it's fresh the problem is it lacks the more natural flavor that Copenhagen can deliver. If I had to pick between Cope long cut and Skoal Classic i'd take the cope. Just something about a cardboard and paraffin wax tin.

Yeah there is something about cardboard and paraffin wax, it allows your precious tobacco to dry out faster than plastic, lol.

I love Copenhagen from time to time, and I enjoy Ettan a great deal, but when I found an unopened can stuck behind an old Kardus package in my fridge the other day I opened it and it was lost. Completely dry, while the Skruf, which came in the same order and was unopened was still very moist. I like that companies try and keep things old school, but good grief it sucks from a longevity stand point.

The only dip I've had in recent years is Copenhagen snuff. I like that a lot. I'm afraid to try anything else. I'm not interested in sweet, or highly flavored tobacco, and that's what most of it is.

Completely forgot my beloved gold llid was just copenhagen longcut. That wintergreen with the red lid was just terrible though. I liked cope snuff but didn't find much of a taste difference between that and longcut so i would just use the longcut to make it easier to get large pinches.
