    A Suggestion, Not A Question

There's been some complaints about the plastic lids on your lös snus. I haven't had any issues, but some have had cracked/broken lids, either from shipping, or factory mishap. I'd like to see the return of of tin lids on the lös snus. They're more durable, much nicer looking, and can be fully recycled in America.

The other idea is to bring back historic packaging on a limited basis. A Swedish Match historic box set around Christmas would be good seller imo. It would temporarily boost sales due to the collectors, and maybe put your snus more firmly in peoples minds when they have the empty tins that they've saved.

Anyway, thanks for reading, and welcome to Snuson :^)

I think that's a mighty fine idea. It would certainly look classy - just think about a GR tin with a 'golden' lid.

When I sampled all that US dip last year I was really impressed with especially the Copenhagen lids. But I dunno - maybe the Swedish recycling system just handles the plastic better?

I think that would go great with the people on the "Go Green" kick as well, especially since metal is generally more recycled in the USA (that I know of at least).

I do think that is what Camel (RJR) is doing. People buy them just to get the fancy tins as collectibles. and if they change up the tins every so often, people will buy them just for the tin.

collectibles = another form of advertising
