Strong Mini Portion

Dear SnusOn,

We've been informed (by Snusdog) that many of you would like us to start producing a strong mini portion. Well, what do you think? We are not making any promises here but we are very interested in your opinion.

Would you like to see a strong mini portion from Swedish Match and if so what brand would you want us to launch it under?

Röda Lacket would be very nice to try as a mini strong. General&Lucky Strike too!

While I almost chose Roda Lacket I picked Ettan.

Roda Lacket is good, but I believe I would use Ettan more as a strong mini.

For me the whole attractiveness of the strong mini idea is to be discreet without compromising satisfaction. It also needs to taste good. Since I only worry about being discreet at work, and since I drink massive volumes of coffee at work, Ettan would be ideal.

As long as you guys are actually asking what flavor we want. If you're asking what brand name, and would ultimately issue a strong mini that is drastically different in flavor than it's namesake, well then, you'd be better off coming up with a unique name. Like when issuing Claq Qui.

I believe General Mini Mint STRONG would be wonderful solution. Many men and WOMEN like it. Plus it keeps your breath fresh at work and in public.
I have yet to have a person male or female, smoker or non-smoker turn their nose up at this particular snus. My non-smoking friends have even tried it.

I think you would have a big winner!

I voted for General because you can't beat the flavor. If I'm correct, you could squeeze 8mg of nicotine into a ~0.6mg pouch. The convenience of having a smaller portion while still getting a normal level of nicotine would be wonderful.

However.... please include 24 portions in each can! An Ekstra Strong mini will only take off if it contains the equivalent amount of nicotine included in a regular portioned can.

As well, make sure the pH is on level with other strong snus'. There would be no point in manufacturing a mini ES snus with a low pH.

I'm sorry for making a long list of requests. I'm the picky type when it comes to snus.

I'm not interested in a mini strong, but I voted for N&J. Imo, it's not a good idea to dilute the traditional brands with every fad and niche product that comes along. I'd keep the old brands traditional, and use the newer brands for test products. N&J is also the SM strong brand, so it's a natural fit.

I voted No, but that is only because I would not use it. I think regular size portions are perfect.

It also seems the most experimental of the brands. It's almost like SM wants to confine the crazy new snus ideas to the N&J line, since N&J users are so used to their favorites disappearing already, they won't miss it when they pull the plug a year down the road. That's not a swipe against SM, it's just that between East, West, and the Lös disappearing I'm afraid the Claq Qui may be next. :shock:

Thanks for running this poll. I voted for N & J. However, I would be interested in most of the items on your list.

I use minis when I need to be discrete (which is often due to meetings, etc…). However the regular minis just don’t pack enough punch.

Anyway, thank you for your consideration and thank you for the fine snus products you provide.

I voted for Nick (and Johnny) but I realize there has to be enough demand for it to be successful.

Minis have a higher appeal (percentage wise) with females and I don't know if Nick (and Johnny) has any appeal to that segment. So I would "settle" for a General mini if it means making it a sucessful product.

The only problem with a General mini that I can see is having too many products labeled with the General name which will add a bit of confusion for some consumers.

I agree with the General regarding General. I would like to have voted for N&J, but General is the "realistic" choice. IMHO, it has the best chance for survival in the current market.

I'm obviously female. I have to say, I absolutely love N&J Strong, it's the only strong I use now. I quit all the other strong portions after I lost all desire to smoke again.

My issue with minis, half the time I end up using 2....this makes it rather pricey as there are only 20 in a can.

FYI if I had to pay 6-8$ for a can of minis. I would defiantly not buy them.

Ditto to Ladysnus about ending up using two minis!. About the appealing or sexiness of N&J.. well I used to LOVE the west version of it! Not because of the box, the design or any other marketing device used.. but because of it flavor and nicotine payoff. Why oh! why was it discontinued??? :cry: (at least I didn't find it anymore in the webshops..)
Anyway.. N&J or General mini stark, I would love (and buy) any of them.
Also, I would prefer a white version of the mini strong, because I live in a warm weather country and the snus take very long to get here by post.
In fact, I used to think I didn’t like the regular version of snus until I spent many months in Montreal where the snus orders from Sweden take two days to arrive. By then I discovered (and enjoy!) the true pleasure of a regular humid pouch!. But in Buenos Aires.. after almost two weeks traveling in the hot weather, the non white version’s arrive all dry out and smelly… :x

I would love to have a Grov and General sterk mini!! I think they would be hardcore in my rotation.
