There has been a lot of concern on the forum about such things as the Pact Act (restricting the shipping of tobacco) and the FDA regulating tobacco (and thus snus).

Can you guys weigh in and let us know SM thoughts on this- is it something you are concerned about, do you see it as a real factor in the future ?

Also do you know of any lobbyist representing SM to USA law makers?

While we are voicing our concern over the legislation we are also preparing to work within the system that the congress sets up to ensure that you still will be able to buy a full range of products.

Neither PACT nor FDA makes snus illegal.

You have made my century...I think perhaps the best thing you said was "ensure you will be able to buy a full range of products" This one especially made me happy. I was really worried that at worst I was going to have to go down to my local cigar store and be stuck with just General products. My taste have changed so much that General is nice but I love all the products you guys over in Sweden put out Thanks again for responding to us and keeping an open dialogue

I agree with ctimb2002 in that my tastes have changed so much that General is nice but I love many of the other products you guys put out. My biggest concern is that I will be forced to only purchase from my local tobacco outlet which only sells General. Does SM have any plans to move more of their products into the US market; and, if so, when and what?
