Wow I bet the RL bits are mind blowing. Whatever happened with this? Are any of the major retailers planning on adding them to the lineup?

I got a couple of cans delivered yesterday. Not tried them yet, I'll let you all know what I think of them.

Just tried out the General, the portion is hard and although it does soften slightly is is not as comfortable as a portion of snus. The General doesn't really taste much like the snus but there are similarities.

I also seem to be generating a lot more saliva, if you need to spit with this stuff, that a deal breaker for me.

To early to tell yet. The experiment continues.

This isn't looking good. The cut is just too hard to have comfortably in your upper lip. The taste is OK but nowhere near as good as it's snus cousin but worst of all after having this in for about 30 minutes I started to feel quite nauseous.

Now I've never used dip or chew so I have nothing to compare this with, but I think this has more in common with chew than snus.

I'll try the RL tomorrow, can't face any more today.

I was curious about this stuff, but your review is kinda scary. I'm a wuss and I like soft little pillows of snus. One reason why it's hard for me to like Gotlandssnus.

This stuff feels like a lump of soggy cardboard in the mouth, I'm sure you could get used to it but for me, I don't think it will do it.

You're supposed to chew on it, then keep it between your jaw and cheek, not upper lip it. At least, that's how they'll work if they're like the Oliver Twists.

That's what I ended up doing, well I didn't chew too much, the flavour was pretty overpowering with a gently squeeze. I was more concerned with the nausea that I felt, I was swallowing the juice and I really had to stop. If you have to spit with them, they are not for me.

If they really are like Oliver Twists, I would definitely be interested in trying these. 8) From the pics, it looks like the same concept, just a bigger roll. OT's taste kind of bland until they soften up enough to unroll......I'm guessing by your review that these are big enough to where they don't even have to be unrolled to get flavor from them.

Tried the RL today, again tastes different to the snus of the same name and again I started to feel slightly sick after a few minutes.

These are not for me, I'm sure I'd get used to the juice in time but I prefer snus.

Anyone in the UK want to try them and I'll post them on.

                          Like Piccanell

The RL and General "tobacco bits product" (similar to Piccanell) is available in Germany, Czech Republic and Slovenia.

                            @ Pete

I picked up a can of the General in Germany over the weekend. Haven't opened it yet.

Are you supposed to put it in your cheek like a Oliver Twist or position it like regular snus?
