    Redman snus?

Why in the world would Swedish match no sell Redman snus?
The only snus I can get at the gas stations (where I buy all my tobacco) is Camel and PM junk, Redman is the most respected name in America period, and snus is reduced harm product, why not sell a Redman snus? Right next to the snuff? Instead of having to drive miles and miles to the nearest tobacco shop to buy General..
I didn't realize match owned Redman, I always assumed it was an all American company, owned and operated all USA, but found out today Swed Match owns it, so why not Redman snus? That gives it instant street credit. Not to mention the regular dippers, that would buy it instead of some other chew. Sure it may not appeal to smokers, but think of the number of dippers and chewers you could pick up. I'd buy it, you bet I'd buy it. Infact I'm going to get some Redman in the morning. Just because I want some.

I sorta said the same thing, but said they should make General snus in a way that it doesn't need referation, maybe a foil pack in the can, and place the cans right next to Redman, and even have coupons on the Redman cans for a free can of General. Name recognition and availablity is the key to making real snus take off in the US, I think.

I had the Redman fine cut, and I thought it was kind of flowery. I didn't really care for it that much, but the flavor was alright.

Isn't redman made by pinkerton here in america? I know that the company is owned by SM, but i have to wonder if they oversee any of the production aspects of Redman!

Yes, Pinkerton owns Redman, Timberwolf and Longhorn. Pinkerton is owned by Swedish Match.

                    Redman snus

                    Hi,

We are not ruling out anything and we could neither say yes or no to any suggestions regarding our US strategy. Most important in any consumer companies strategy though is naturally to satisfy consumer demand and so we value your input highly.

                    Thank you for your ideas.

                    BR,
                    J&M
