I would like to add though, I think once americans get used to and comfortable with the idea of snus the flavor profile of say general or rather the "traditional snus profile" will be more accepted here! Right now it is so different and foreign from anything that is available here that I dont think they are sure about it!!
Hell it is getting popular though I first learned about the getsnus web store in a giant ad that was in my MINT magazine!

General Sterk White. Very good beginner snus, most people I know from gymnasium in Norway started out with it.
In order to capture the US market, a snus thats powerful, yet easy on the nose and the lip will surely be a big hit. If I were to offer a snus to someone who has yet to try snus, but has a nicotine tolerance, it would surely be a general sterk white.
Also, I'm guessing any products that Swedish Match adds to their US lineup will be available from the Northerner US warehouse.
Oh and I really hope you succeed in capturing the US market. Good luck!

i voted for onyx because ive never had the sterks or ekstra sterks.
though im hoppin onboard with everyone thats said you should try introducing more brands than general. one step at a time, americans are jumping on the snus train. it may be 5 years before it pays off, but it will eventually, im sure. i think roda lacket is a great choice for american marketing.

This poll is difficult to vote on. "General Mint White Portion", as you say, does not exist yet. If this product is similar to wintergreen or mini-mint in sweetness, I would not vote for it. But if it is more of a 'traditional' mint (a la elixyr peppermint or similar products), it would be my top choice.
With that being said, I have voted for the Onyx. Although I think I would personally purchase General Sterk more than Onyx, I think it would have the most appeal to due the totally sexy packaging. This, in turn, would get people to try the 'other' kinds of General. It could be a spring-board effect.
On a side note, I agree with whomever suggested adding a different brand from Swedish Match as opposed to a larger General selection. I believe Catch Eucalyptus-Menthol's immense popularity, coupled with the fact that it offers a distinctly different flavor profile than what is currently available, would make it a solid choice to line up next to the current General line-up. Not to mention the shiny green packaging would 'catch the eye' of a casual browser.

It could just be my mouth, but I find General Sterk to have a more flavorful and better taste than General Extra Sterk. I popped in an Extra Sterk this morning, and while it's good, it seems a bit bland. But the more I think about it, while I think I like General Sterk more, the Onyx might be the one to go with. It does have a good bold taste, flashy can design, in all areas it does stand out, and is very good.
