V2 Portion Count....Hello Patrik!!!

This is almost becoming an issue. I haven't opened a tin of the new batch or any other batch of OR coffe/van limited edition portions that actually had 24 portions in it. They usually have aprox 20. The tins are supposed to have 24 portions in them. Whats up with that. Keep in mind that I use 3 tins a week for several years now, so at this point I feel kinda shorted.

I only count the portions because I'm patiently waiting to find a tin that actually HAS 24 portions. The average tin only has 20 or 21. I've found a few as 11. At this point someone owes me a roll. By the time I finish the next 16 rolls I'm really going to feel cheated.

On another note...... I see that V2s new portion maker machine has yet to put a full gram if tobacco in each portion. Usually they are 1/10th of a gram short. My scale accurately measures to within 100 of a gram. I haven't found a portion yet that weighs a gram. My older stock of Coffe/van portions are fine so I believe the new machine might need some adjustments.

Although the amount of tobacco per portion is a really minor issue [to me anyways] I feel that if we are paying for 24 portions that we should get 24 portions.

Inquireing minds want to know whats up with this........... Patrik?

fyi, I am eternally gratefull that V2 produced another batch. As such, I'm not complaining about the shortages. I am just wondering why. Give us alittle insite so we can understand.

I count my Thunder Frosted religiously. I have found 4 cans that have been 3-4 portions short, but that is out of roughly 35-40 cans.

They really should fix this.

I haven't noticed it as much in the Thunder I've used, but my phantoms (brown and blue) do share the inconsistency you mentioned. I don't normally count them, but I noticed one can of phantom brown seemed to not have many portions in it, so I counted the next one which was jammed packed with 27 portions. However, the portions were not equal in tobacco distribtuion. I don't weigh the stuff, but some seem very flat with not much snus and others are nice and thick full of snus.

Like PP, I hate to complian because I'm not exactly going broke buying phantom and I love the snus, but I would like to see more consistency in the product.

I had big issues with Thunder Frosted, every tin I had on the last roll I got last year was short, and the portions were very slim.

That being said, I've gone through a roll and a half of Offroad Frosted, every portion has been FULL, great quality, and the cans have all had to correct amount.

this is why i mainly use los and only use portions when in classes, or at work(when not on break) but im pretty sure its the machine, v2 is really good about getting things done so im sure they'll fix it as soon as they can.

Yes I'm sure they will fix it. But without someone mentioning it they might never know there is a problem.

I've never counted mine, never noticed visually that there was less, but I never look out for this sort of thing.

Did you count the one you put in your mouth a second after you opened the can and a second before you started counting?

Just opened another can of Thunder Frosted....19 portions. :x :evil:

And Im still waiting on my replacement roll they promised me....
