SMNA guys are alright in my book.

I left work in hurry the other day and forgot to take my laptop, snus and some paperwork. The laptop was onlyfor goofing off really, and the paperwork didn't justify going back home an hour away to get. The Snus on the other hand had me crying and complaining half way to work (Also running a tad bit late)

So it hit me! "I know a little cigar store that I've never really been to, but carries General!" So I made my way there. First off, this is my kind place. Cigars, Cigarettes, Chew, Dip, Chaw, Snuff, Pipes, Snus, Paste, Hooka crap, AND coffee area. Since then I've spent a plenty amount of hours after work there just BSing and such with guys and gals there. But either way I go in, immediately spot their General Fridge open her up. Almost empty save for a tin of Whites, a few OP, maybe one more los, and no mini mints, and mint samplers. Take a white and a Los and make my way out. Little less than a month past exp date (which I didn't mind) and the fridge was almost bare... That bugged me but I said nothing.

When I got to work I went on Swedish Match's main website, found the first "contact/info email" I could and wrote about the store and the location and kindly noted that it was getting a little low and old. Ended it at that and forgot about the Email.

So I get an Email today from the Associate Brand Manager, who spoke to the Consumer Relations Rep, who spoke to the Info center rep saying he contacted another rep to check the area account/location and will get some more sent out and to throw him my address if I should require any snus now.

I'd like to say I was a bit amazed at the customer service SM has and if they all stick to their words they won't be just alright in my books, they'll be my hero and life long friend. Keep up the excellent work Swedish Match.

    Special Props to:
    Mr. Dean
    Mr. Binder
    Mrs./Ms./Miss/ Payne
    And info center ma'am/sir.

Some of us would call it 'Heaven On Earth'.

So an update: A giving credit where credit is certainly due. I haven't gotten a chance to go to the tobacco store in a while. I stopped going when their snus fridge was running on fumes after picking it all over. Still had some Goteborgs Rape in the freezer but the Generals were tastin' mighty fine in the fridge. Walk out to my mailbox and blamo!

Certainly wasn't in that order an I've taken a can or two out and opened up the Mint and a Wintergreen.

The card was hand written (Mr. D has sloppy hand writing but I'm not going to hold that against him :-D ) But basically saying "Hope this tides you over, retailer placed and order so when you run out of this stop on by there for some fresh stuff. Thanks for the heads up and looking out. etc etc"

So after getting this I kinda feel the need to go to church and make a donation or something. Also this allows me to lecture to everyone about the need to check out where General brand snus is located around where you're at and give them your business also. Web shops are nice and cheap a good selection. But SM is attempting to introduce an outstanding product in America and needs everyone's help. Yeah it'll be more expensive, but c'mon you've all had the tax thing coming for a long time. I understand if ya just plum don't like General, but a can or two ain't gunna hurt ya. Just so the reps know "Hey, lets keep this fridge here for a little longer" (because I've seen a fridge come and go in other spots around here).

SO M/J. SMNA is looking good and I fully support giving everyone there a raise (a small one though). Keep up the excellent customer service and I love you.

If anyone ever says that SM doesn't care about their customers, we will have to show them this. That was extremely generous of them.

          HOOWAH SWEDISH MATCH!!

Good man. Glad to see you're graduating from the fiberglass branded American tobaccos and moving to the safer stuff.

            Thumbs up!

Is this for real? It's hard to believe, but I guess Swedish snus in the american market is like a grassroots effort at this point, So it makes sense for them to to take care of a customer like you.

Some finer tobacconnists carry snus, so I've heard, but I haven't seen any around here(not that I've been looking too hard). This encourages me to go out and buy a can every now and again, just to do what little I can.
