It's not just you. They're a little hard to get a hold of. I think J&M mentioned somewhere that they are only available in two(2) test markets(I think czech republic and germany are the only two). They aren't available in Sweden, or most of the EU yet.

EDIT: found it guess they're in 3 different places

The tobacco cut product is a very small scale test product that is produced in extremely small volumes. It is not availible in the supply chain today. If this product is evaluated to have a market potential we might be able to make it availible online but at the moment we unfortunatly can't make that happen.

Neither of us have actually tried it our selves but from what we have been told it is the same product as Piccanell though it comes in larger bits.

When we know more about were this project is heading we will write it here ASAP.

Part of the reason we don't see more of these products is they cost more to make.

I don't think General Cuts are spun tobacco but they do share one of it's drawbacks..."single tobacco leaves makes the product prone to large variations as tobacco leaves can differ widely in their individual composition and taste characteristics"

(WO/2009/065459) PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING SMOKELESS TOBACCO ARTICLES AND SMOKELESS TOBACCO ARTICLE FOR ORAL CONSUMPTION

Another type of products for chewing, so-called "Twists" or "Mini Rolls", is pre- portioned to the appropriate size and weight. This type is especially popular in the Scandinavian countries. It has a cylindrical shape, a diameter of approximately 5 mm and a length of about 10 mm. To manufacture such products, leaf tobacco is spun into an endless strand which is then cut into portions and treated with casings. The spinning process itself is performed manually, resulting in low production volumes and high costs. Furthermore, the use of single tobacco leaves makes the product prone to large variations as tobacco leaves can differ widely in their individual composition and taste characteristics .

The current process of producing chewing tobacco portions is described in "An old craft for a new era" by House of Oliver Twist A/S, Denmark, ISBN 87-990650-0-2, pp 37-38. Its core process step is the manual spinning of tobacco leaves into an endless strand. It is said that "Technology cannot replace the steady skill of a spinner" (ibid.) .
The patent describes a way around those problems, making those mini rolls out of sheets of reconstituted tobacco. Somehow knowing that your minirolls are made out of recon tobacco doesn't have the same charm.

I think the General long cut would sell if it was available.
