    Did Knox formulation change?

My question to the professionals, did the Knox formulation change?

It had been a long time since I had had Knox portion snus. I remember it as being long lasting, salty, a little earthy and a great value...well because the flavor lasted a long time. I just purchased a roll of Knox and am quite disappointed. It no longer has the long lasting flavor, it is drier, and does not compare to the brands I had been using since the hiatus of Knox from being on the market. Knox was almost as good as Retro, now it seems both are gone, one forever and the other (Knox) to a different, cheaper version of something that is more like a ghost of its former self. Am I wrong, or have been away from Knox too long to know if it has really had a formulation change?

I don't think you're gonna hear from Republic on this issue... From what I've read, Skruf products changed after the great shortage. I don't think it's just you.

Being a die-hard Skruf-Starker I have noticed over the past year or so the consistency of Skruf not being as good as it used to be but it doesn't seem too bad at the moment (for Skruf Stark anyway)

For a while there there was almost a Skruf drout where I was getting rolls of dry, tasteless portions, split bags etc.

I recall reading on here suggestion as to it was because Skruf's factory couldn't keep up with demand so they were looking to expand to another factory.

Would be great if the consistency got back to the A1 standard it was in the old days.

I had a can of Knox OP a while back, and I really didn't care for it.

Same here. It tasted too flowery.
