Yepper this is the place. We need to keep this thread easy to scan thru. Occasionally I'll be deleting some posts. But only comments that aren't actually informative or comments where posted answers have the question quoted in the post. If that makes any sense. Thanks peeps

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Heres a guide for our canadian members. It was put together by another member here some time ago. This might be a good guide to what you may have to pay customs for tax.
I whipped up a spreadsheet this morning to calculate the Taxes and Duty that are owed on packages of snus entering Canada.
To the best of my knowledge these calculations are correct. Bear in mind that I'm not an import/export lawyer, a math expert, or an Open-Office expert by any means. I've also included links to government forms for reference. Any input by those more familiar with the Canadian import laws would be very much appreciated.
It runs on Open Office Calc, I don't know if it runs on Excel or not.

I think it's pretty straightforward to use.
- You enter your GST/PST/HST rate and Provincial Tobacco tax according to the chart at the bottom
- You enter the number of cans in the package, the weight of each can, the value of the cans and the cost of shipping.
- That's it. The extra columns are there just to compare different orders.

Here's an example for Alberta:

Greetings. It would appear the Trade thread took a temporary vacation to the Stores & Online Shops section but it's now been restored to it's rightful place. We apologise for the confusion/inconvenience caused.

Crazy thread.....it does tend to wander....especially if you forget to close the gate along the side of the house.
Thanks to the admin for getting this sorted outWhen it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers
