    Empty Islay Whisky Snus Cans

Is there anyone out there that uses "Islay Whisky Snus Portions" that might be willing to part with a few of the cans (not the Snus, Just the empty cans)? I really like to metal cans but not interested in ordering more of the Snus. It was OK, but not something I want to use. I like the metal can for my carry can, I put my selection of Snus in small zip bags and carry an assortment with me in the Islay Whisky Snus can. Thanks

I can try and dig some out. I've got a roll worth somewhere from a recent order.

Burnie.... I just pulled an untouched roll of them out of the snus freezer, 2015 date, mint, but the cans are a bit sticky, this is a problem with these cans, i think it is the plasticizer breaking down. Real common problem with these cans, you can try dusting the outside with talcum powder, our in your case sand, to remedy the problem.
All my old cans are like that. I am also sending an old lucky strike plastic tin. God i miss those Lucky Strike snus!
If anyone has newer tins help the lad out! Whalen - (Retired and Has a medical Marijuana card and is not afraid to use it!)

The "sticky" (I think) will be from the labels that they stick on the cans, pealed off the can should be painted with the same pattern. The "sticky" should wash off leaving a nice looking painted can underneath (if I am right). I have heard of the Lucky Strike Snus, but it was before my time with Snus (I just started using Snus last year, was vaping before that to keep from smoking), but from what I have read, everyone misses it, I wonder why they don't bring it back, I'm sure it would sell.

                          ............me too.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I got to thinking about how the cans don't really seal that good and thought of an idea.
I think I might be able to put an o-ring in the lid. With that in mind, I measured it with my calipers, and then went online and ordered 7 different sizes to try. Sucks the shipping was more than the o-rings, but I get this bug to try something and I just don't sweat the little things. I have a can that was sent to me by trebli that was really rusty inside, I sanded it out and painted the inside of it, but now it smells like paint, so I can't use it for Snus, but it will be good to experiment on with putting an o-ring in the lid. If by chance I mess it up, it won't be a big loss as I can't use it for Snus anyway.

Wish it was me also, on both counts, but I still have a few years on the first, and will most likely never see the second.
